What is EISPEDN?
EISPEDN is an acronym for: Egyptian Institution of Scientific, Pediatrics, Diabetes, Endocrinology and Nutrition It is a non-profit, non-governmental institution established in 2024 by Prof. Shereen Abdelghaffar MD, Professor of Pediatrics, Consultant of Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology at Cairo University.

The President Prof. Shereen Abdelghaffar is a Professor of Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, and has Joint master in Medical Education of Healthcare professionals from Maastricht and Suez Canal University (JMHPE).
Meet Our President: See Biography She believes in the importance of continuous professional development and continuing medical education for health professionals as well as the importance of health awareness of the Community.In the Field of Continuous medical Education and Community awareness, She has held 14 conferences, scientific workshops and seminars as well as awareness events for children and their families in the Fields of Pediatrics, Diabetes, Endocrinology and Nutrition in physical, virtual and hybrid methods since 2019 till now. Our Vision
The institution seeks to be accredited and recognized nationally, regionally as well as internationally in the domain of Scientific Research, continuous professional development of HC professionals and in providing Health Education to the Community. The Institution will be in few years a pioneer in building and developing capabilities of health care professionals in the fields of Scientific Research, Pediatrics, Diabetes, Endocrinology and Nutrition in order to improve and develop health services for patients and their families and in raising community awareness for the prevention and treatment of various diseases in the aforementioned specialties.
EISPEDN Mission
The Institution seeks to provide locally, regionally and internationally accredited training and educational programs adhering to international quality standards. This will lead to effective and efficient development of clinical and professional capabilities of health care professionals including physicians, nurses, educators, health workers, health technicians in the field of Scientific Research, Pediatrics, Diabetes, Endocrinology and Nutrition.
